Our review
From the home of the lightweight umbrella-fold buggy comes their cheapest model yet – the Volo. You can pick it up for just under £100, so there are cheaper buggies on the market, but beating the Volo’s quality and sturdiness could be pretty hard, so its worth spending the extra pounds.
Once you reach the end of your baby’s first year, you could be ready to invest in a more lightweight pushchair, that’s easier to chuck in the car boot and navigate busy streets that your from-birth pram. The Volo could be the answer.
Perfect for holidays, the Volo weighs just 4.3kg and has a one-handed umbrella fold that collapses the buggy in under five seconds. This makes it a doddle to use on public transport, especially if you’re holding a baby at the same time!
Safety features include high visibility brakes, a five-point harness and a parent tether to prevent it rolling away. It can also be easily steered with one hand, which is useful if you’re holding another child’s hand, or you need to answer your phone.
There are drawbacks though, the Volo isn’t travel system compatible, the handles aren’t adjustable which means that if you’re very tall or short it’s less comfortable to push.
There’s only one seat position so it’s not suitable before six months, but is great for older babies and toddlers who are starting to walk more and don’t need to sit in a buggy full-time.

Netmums' verdict
It’s light enough to carry easily, throw in your car boot and take on holiday, so we think the Volo is a winner for families on the go.
