You'll need:
- pink card
- thin hairband
- white shirt
- dark trousers
- patch of old material
- waistcoat or long-sleeved dark shirt
4 easy steps
1. Cut out two large ear shapes from the pink card, add details with a black pen. Have a look online to find how other people design their BFG ears – some even use paper plates to make them!
2. Glue or tape the ears to either side of the hairband. If you don't have a hairband you can cut a strip of card to fit around the top of your kid's head, similar to a crown, and then stick the ears onto each side.
3. Sew or use safety pins to attach a patch of old fabric to the trousers – it's all about the details!
4. If you don’t have a waistcoat, make one easily by cutting the arms off a dark shirt. If you don't have an old one you want to cut up, head to your nearest charity shop and you'll find plenty!
