The best things about being pregnant
Great skin and hair
Your hair and skin are glowing - so much so that anyone looking directly at you could do with having sunnies on to stop the glare.
Maternity leave
Ah, the joy of maternity leave - hopefully you'll get a few weeks off before the baby comes along, and then up to a year once the little bundle has arrived. The chance to avoid the commute/annoying colleagues/over-demanding bosses. Woo hoo!
No periods
At least for the duration of your pregnancy, it's bye bye painful periods. And PMT - bonus (for everyone)!

People are SO happy for you
Friends and even strangers just can't stop smiling at your bump and being oh-so happy for you. Some even break out into a tango every time they see you. Don't you feel special?
You feel like a super hero
While you're pregnant, your body is doing AMAZING things, creating a whole new little life. 'Today I made an ear!' Wow.
Hearing your baby's heartbeat
Going for your first scan and hearing your baby's heartbeat for the first time is awesome. You can't believe how in love you are with someone you've not even met yet.
Your boobs look fabulous
You've gone up three cup sizes and it feels fantastic. Scarlett Johannson, eat your heart out.
You always get a seat
There gets to a point where you're about as round as Mr Bump and wherever you go you're sure to get a seat - unless Mr Grumpy or Miss Naughty are around, of course.

Buying lots of cute outfits for the baby
Why does it have to be a toss up between the parrot onesie and the pea-in-a-pod sleepsuit? Buy both! For the first time in your life you get to make ridiculous style decisions for another human being who has no choice in the matter ...YAY!
Cat naps - lots of them
Everyone's on the look out for your wellbeing when you get pregnant. Regular power naps/cat naps - call them what you will - are high on the agenda. Don't mind if I do!
