TikTokers say they LOVE the 'accurate' scent of this body lotion – and it's £24 cheaper than the more expensive version
You've probably heard of Brazilian Bum Bum cream – a skin-tightening body cream that's having a moment on social media. With fans across the world, devotees praise its divine smell, the fact that it promises to firm up your skin wherever you need a lift – and it gives a gorgeous glo,w too.
But at close to £30 for a full-size pot of the cream, it's not something we can afford to splash out on that often.
Which is why we were very happy to hear about a budget-friendly dupe at one of our favourite supermarkets.
One TikToker found an 'identical smelling dupe' of Sol de Janeiro's popular Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – that currently sells for £16.80 for 75ml on LookFantastic or £28 for the bigger 150ml pot at Boots – for just £4.
And you can pick it up along with your weekly shop.

Sol de Janeiro without the price tag
TikToker Shannon Spalding (@shanspaldingx) shared the lookalike product – Treaclemoon's Brazilian Love Body Lotion – which she said smelt just the same as the pricier product.
The product, which costs just £4 in Tesco, comes 'in the scent of Brazilian Love' and will nourish to give you 'wonderfully caressed skin', says the product description.
Plus, at 250ml, it's way bigger than Sol de Janeiro's version, meaning you'll get even more for your money.
'I love the price of Sol de Janeiro but I hate the price,' Shannon explained.
'Why is it so expensive? The Brazilian bum bum cream, why are you so expensive?'
'I found an identical smelling dupe, cause I've literally had the normal Sol de Janeiro, from Tesco.
'I literally got this in Tesco's. And they even do a matching spray, so we're going to be Sol de Janeiro girlies without the Sol de Janeiro price tag.'

'Ok I’m convinced!'
And Shannon wasn't the only one. Other fans of Treaclemoon's product had already discovered the dupe, or said they'd be rushing out to buy it as soon as they could.
'I was gatekeeping this because I didn’t want it to sell out 😭😭,' said one. 'They have the body wash too 🥲.'
'Smells so good 🤭,' said a second.
A third fan added:
'Ok I’m convinced! Tesco I’m coming!'
And a fourth agreed that the scent was spot on:
'The scent match is so accurate and maybe they could bring out some other dupes from Sol de Janeiro 👀,' they said.

Aldi's £4.99 dupe
It's not the only dupe for the Brazilian bum cream out there though.
Last year, Aldi shoppers spotted a dupe of the popular product in stores that 'definitely looks the same texture' but cost just £4.99.
And the TikToker who alerted us to the lookalike buy confirmed that it smells the same, though Aldi's one is slightly 'sweeter', she said.
