'Hello Everyone, it’s been a little while but I’m back with some news. I’m delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!!
'I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time.'
Likening the feeling of being pregnant with being on a rollercoaster, Emily added:
'Please go easy on me ❤️ Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting – a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover.
'I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level. It’s made me appreciate the one I’ve been given SO much, I’m doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I’m growing.'
The actress, who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the Channel 4 show, said she and her partner could 'already sense the baby is reclined on a mattress of peanut butter and jam sandwiches in there, demanding more chocolate buttons'.
She then added:
'I’m so happy to be writing all of this to you all. You’ve always stuck by me through the years, do stick around to watch me enter my mum era. Christ. Let’s go.'
Emily – who is the daughter of actress Kate Robbins and musician Keith Atack – and Alistair have recently set up home together in preparation for the arrival of their baby, who is rumoured to be due in April.

'Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis. It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs.
'Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.

Ex on the Beach star Ashley Cain has announced he is to become a father again, two years after the heartbreaking death of his 8-month-old daughter Azaylia.
The bittersweet news comes after the former footballer, 33, and ex-partner Safiyya Vorajee, 35, lost their baby daughter to acute myeloid leukaemia in April 2021. She had been diagnosed with the aggressive form of cancer at 8 weeks old.
Now the former Coventry City star has announced he is to become a dad again and is expecting a baby boy with a woman he's been friends with since the age of 18.
Ashley's son is due in January.
Speaking to The Sun, Ashley revealed that the first person he wanted to tell the news was his daughter.
He said:
'The first thing that I did was go down to Azaylia’s resting place to talk to her about it.
'I believe that was a huge part that has allowed me to feel positive about it. I feel like she was the main person that I needed to speak to and to get this thing off my chest.
'After going to her resting place and speaking to her about it, I just had a feeling in my heart and in my soul that she was happy for me.'
The former footballer also revealed he'd wanted to find out the sex of his child but wasn't sure how he'd be able to cope if it was another girl.
'Now it means I have a little girl and a little boy, which is perfect for me,' he said.

Sam, 30, and Briony, 28 are already parents to son Sonny, 3, and daughter Daisy, 18 months.
Sharing the news, the couple also revealed that sadly they'd lost their unborn baby's twin to Vanishing Twin Syndrome – when a baby stops growing and the mother absorbs the embryo and tissue.
And while Sam – who plays Chesney in the ITV show – and Briony shared how excited they were about the pregnancy news, they admitted they were left with questions.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Briony opened up:
'We were excited and thankful, because we always wanted a baby that was healthy. Then we started thinking, "We could have had 2… Will the living twin always wonder, 'What if?' and will they feel lonely?"
'We found ourselves questioning what could have been, while feeling grateful for what we’ve got.'
Earlier this year, Briony also shared the heartbreaking news that she and Sam had suffered 2 miscarriages within 4 months of each other.
At the time, the hypnobirthing teacher, who has been married to Sam since 2019, shared a photo of a pregnancy test on Instagram with the caption 'not pregnant anymore', which she posted 'in the interest of breaking the taboo'.
She shared how 'heartbreaking and unfair' the news was and said the couple had only told close friends and family about both pregnancies, because she 'would want support from those people if it wasn't meant to last'.

Kourtney, who shares 3 children – Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8 – with ex Scott Disick, had previously undergone IVF treatment. However she told fans in December that she'd officially stopped the treatment because of the side effects she was experiencing, including depression.
