'Luxurious' M&S bag that's 'just like' Chanel's £3k version

Hot on the heels of Marks and Spencer's Celine bag dupe (that costs £1.8k less!) the high street shop has yet another designer dupe we can't wait to get our hands on.
And this one costs £2,922 less than its more expensive counterpart.
Marks and Spencer's Quilted Chain Strap Cross Body Shoulder Bag is remarkably like Chanel's Golden Class 2.0 Wallet on Chain Mixed Quilt Calfskin, say shoppers – a bag that is sold online for £2,962.15 at the moment.
But, at just £39.50, you can pick up M&S's version for a fraction of the price.

'Quilted for a luxurious look'
The quilted bag comes in three colours – black, cream and green – all of which have a gold clasp and matching gold chain strap.
A front pocket and lined inside pocket means there's plenty of room to stash your valuables carefully and a twist-lock fastening means there's no risk of them falling out either.
The description on the Marks and Spencer page reads: 'This faux leather bag is quilted for a luxurious look.'

We LOVE the classic style of this bag, that combines goes-with-anything black faux leather material with gold detailing and adds style to any outfit.
'Classic and contemporary'
The description continues: 'The chain-trimmed cross body strap can be worn over the shoulder for versatility.
'Features a front pocket and a lined internal compartment. Twist-lock fastening for a secure finish.'
Part of M&S Collection, the range combines classic and contemporary styles for easy-to-wear wardrobe staples.
Chanel's version, meanwhile, is slightly different to M&S's one.
While they both have a rectangular shape, their quilted design slightly varies, and the Marks and Spencer bag has more pockets.
But Chanel's option has a thicker clasp, is made with calfskin and also features the classic Chanel logo.

Just last week, shoppers also spotted a navy leather tote bag at Marks and Spencer, that they said was incredibly similar to Celine's Nano Luggage Bag which costs £1,950.
