★★★★☆Good recipe. Have done it with both fresh cherry tomatoes and tinned chopped tomatoes and it's much nicer with the tinned. Also think its lovely with mushrooms and peas added in served with mash! Big hit in this family!

★★★★★So easy, and it's all ingredients you generally have in, you can always improvise with the herbs and spices. This is perfect when you need to go shopping and you've got nothing in!

★★★★★My OH is Bengali and I'm always looking to make authentic recipes for him as he misses his curries. I'm sure its delicious, and I know me and the kids will love it! (Beanz meanz smiles in this house) but I'm goin to have fun watching his face when I serve it to him after telling him Ive been slaving away over an authentic curry recipe for him! I take too much enjoyment in winding him up. THANK YOU!

★★★★★LOVE how simple this is :) Especially considering how disorganized I am at having food in cupboards at the end of the week. Although I prefer to use a curry powder rather than chillies. 2tsp as per the other spices seems to work

★★★★☆This was really easy and cheap to make and much tastier than I thought it would be! Went down well with everyone as could have plain beans for the really fussy eaters but still feel as if we were eating as a family!

★★★★☆I was drawn to this recipe because of its simplicity being a bloke living on my own with moderate cooking skills. I found the dish very tasty but will add more chilli next time and maybe less seasoning.

★★★★★"YUMTASTIC!" (my 3yr old). I added lean mince to mine (i am anaemic and need red meat) and threw some chopped fresh red and green pepper in (had them in the fridge and they needed using) and substituted 2tsps of medium chilli powder instead of the fresh chillis and used low salt, low sugar beans... it was fab! This is definitely a recipe that you can throw whatever you have that needs using into, to save pennies, get their five a day in and keep everyone happy. So easy, cheap, quick and quite healthy if you make sensible low fat, low sugar choices! Thanks!
