We have probably been annually for the last 12 years, as our 4 children have grown up they have all got something out of it up until the age of about 11/12. I love the hilltop setting, it is spectacular, best to start at the top and work your way down the hill then catch the chairlift back up again. We always take a picnic, there is plenty of provision with picnic areas. The queues are never big and there are just enough exciting rides to keep bigger kids busy. A great famiy day out.

Gulliver's in Matlock bath not ideal for trolleys/buggies! We went last August and used the lower entrance. Had to push a tandem buggy for 15-month old twins uphill-- not my idea of a great dayout at all! (more like a workout! not good at all!) Rides very enjoyable for my 2 older kids (aged 8 & 6). Hubby and I enjoyed riding with them, too! Wasps were present, but not as bad as others' experience. Facilities okay. Didn't look old and drab (better than Warrington's i think). Brought food for picnic, as i knew not much on offer. Not-so-long queues. Good experience, reasonable value for family with older children. For families with trolleys, puschchairs, buggies-- avoid it! better try the other 2... We've been to Warrington last year. We'll try Milton Keynes next.

Our 2 year old loved it here last year, but beware the wasps in late summer. The park is in the trees and the wasps are abundant. Our daughter and her granny were both stung in the car park at the bottom and another of our party was stung whilst in the park. There are plenty of rides and attractions, and we had a great day out. Absolutely appalling food offer though, comfortably the worst food we've ever encountered anyway. Take a packed lunch.

We've been there twice this year. We live about 30 mins away, so we go at 3.30pm, when the price goes down! It works out at a similar price to some of the indoor play areas. My children love it. Admittedly, there isn't a lot for older thrill seekers, but it is great for little ones who would spend hours on a merry-go-round. The staff were really friendly, too.

We have just been to the "spectacular Dora and Diego" experience. What a complete waste of money!! Its being advertised on TV and it should be banned! Someone dressed in a Dora outfit - very unconvincingly - was at the gates as you go in waving at everyone. That was it! We were supposed to be going to do the huge hunt for things, and look out for Swiper Fox, and meet Dora and Diego. We started at the tbottom, walked right to the top, then back down again. Absolutely no sign of anything to do with Dora at all, the only thing we saw was Dora stuff in the shops which was rediculous prices!! My little girl was so upset when we left and she has said for over a week now she was upset she didnt see anything, and as a crazy Dora fan, thats all we really went to see! The park iteslf was great, rides are fab and lots for kids to do, but OMG the wasps! We wont be going again. We couldnt even eat in the cafe cos they were just EVERYWHERE,,,, dont think its worth almost £12 each even for kids! we are on a tight budget and its the only special trip we could afford. VERY diappointed! I did mention to a guy working there on the way out how rubbish it was, trynig to console a crying little girl - he gave her a Dora keyring. Great, she wasnt impressed with the keyring, she is 3! Nice of him but did not make up for the promise we made her, told her when it came on TV for 2 weeks we were taking her to meet Dora, Diego and Swiper Fox. Absolute rubbish!

Each time I have visited the children have loved it - aged 7 and 3 and even our 3 year old managed to go on nearly every ride. The park is clean and is definately worth the money when compared to other theme parks.

Children have to be 90cm or taller to go on most rides. Luckily my 2 year old son just hit the 91cm mark, and absolutely loved it, riding on miniature rollercoasters and 'driving' his Dad in little cars amongst other things. Our daughter is 7 months old, so i pushed her round all day, and although the hills are steep, there are plenty of places to rest, plenty of places for snacks and enough things to look at to keep her amused. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to any young family.

There is a Gullivers eco park in Milton Keynes and it is FANTASTIC! There are loads of rides for young children and some great activities like panning for gold, digging up dinosaur bones, cooking, digging for vegetables...etc. Its great value for money and my boys aged 1, 7, and 4 absolutly loved it.

Went here for my daughters 2nd birthday and we all loved it. Cost four of us under £30 for the day, parking was free and they were very welcoming of picnics, something we've struggled with in other places. We didn't have to pay for my daughter as she was under 90cm, but that didn't restrict her from all the rides, she was still able to go on quite a lot. Be prepared for a lot of walking up hills which isn't too bad as you can stagger that by going on the rides, also plenty of areas to stop and have a rest.

I took my 6 y/o and 3 y/o here on Sunday. Fantastic!!! Excellent value at under £10 per person. (Under 90cm get in free). Plenty of rides/softplay area's/park area's to keep the little ones amused and plenty of food places or area's for picnics. Beware its VERY hilly. Didnt bother my pair but I found it a little tougher being 5 months pregnant! We had a really good day and 2 very tired little people at the end of it! My 6 y/o's personal fave was the monorail (that you cycle yourself!) I found this hard work too haha..(kids couldnt reach the pedals!) and the chair lifts which are excellent! :-)

Hi, we took my little boy who is 3 years old here and i have to say he absoloutly loved it! The best bit was he was able to go on all the rides such as the log flume, pirate ship etc thatin alot of theme parks are aimed at adults and older children. There are so many rides to choose from it was defanatly worth every penny. There was also plenty of places to eat all offering different meals and if you wanted to take a picnic ther was plenty of picnic benches all over the park. If you have more than 2 children however i would recomend ther is 1 adult per child as some of the rides you do need to have an adult with them. The only downside to the park is it is a little bit hilly but they do have cable chairs that will take you from the top of the park to the bottom and vice versa- no good if you have a pram but it wouldnt put me off going- well worth a visit.

me and my friend took our 2 boys who are 3 here for a day out and it was great! they could go on nearly all the rides and had a great time. just a heads up if you go on the monorail one beware you have to cycle and its further than it looks so if your like me n your sons feet dont reach pedals you will do all the work! you have been warned! lol mind you it is a great work out! enjoy

We have a 2 year old son, we visited Guilvers Kingdom in Matlock Bath. We had a fantastic day my little boy was able to go on everything as long as your little one is over 90cm I would definatly recommend it! Its really on small childrens levels! Very steep hills through, I wouldn't take a pushchair! And it does tire you out, but it really is a brilliant family day. Its well worth the cost to get in too.
