Frozen is a gorgeous story about sisterly love and female empowerment, and it makes a magical theme for a kids' party too.
If your kid is asking for their next birthday to be based on their favourite Disney film, you might be wondering how best to transform your home into a wintery Arandelle.
We've put together loads of games, decorations and food ideas so you can create the perfect Frozen themed party for all the little Annas, Elsas and Olafs coming to play.
1. Frozen statues
Inspired by Anna's icy fate, this is a play on the game musical statues.
Play songs from the Disney film and encourage the kids to dance.
When the music stops, everyone freezes. First person to move is out.
2. Bake an Olaf cake
We absolutely loved this delicious looking Olaf cake on Instagram from @sweet_cake_by_geri.
Why not try making a similar snowman birthday cake yourself?
Use butter icing for the snow, then add marshmallows, chocolate buttons and marzipan arms. Delicious!
3. Blanket sledding
Depending on how many kids you're entertaining (and how robust your blankets are), have them sit together on a quilt while you drag them round the room.
Or, get everyone to sit on a pillow case and race up and down the room by shuffling on their bums.
4. Design your own Elsa dress
We spotted these cute dresses on Instagram, from @jinxnsparky.
Use a party dress already in your kids' wardrobes, and give it a Frozen twist.
Buy cut-off materials from your local haberdashier or craft shop and tack it around the dress. Sew on some ribbons and sequins for full effect.
5. Jam jar snow globes
If you're looking for cute craft ideas, try turning your old jam jars and glass bottles into snow globes.
First glue some Frozen toys upside down on to the jam jar lids. You could use painted pine cones and mini trees if you like instead.
Fill the jam jar with water and a little bit of glycerin (available to buy in cosmetic shops like Boots). Then add biodegradable glitter to the water for the snow.
Screw the lid onto the jam jar and turn it so your Frozen figure is standing the right side up. Watch as the glitter gently falls in your Frozen scene.
6. Snow balloon fight
Divide the party into two and get one team to pelt the other with blown up balloons.
If a balloon hits you, you're out. Continue playing until there is one player left, then swap the teams over and play again.
7. Paper snowflake decorations
Buy some silver paper from your local craft supplies shop, cut into circles, then fold in half, quarters and eighths.
Cut shapes out from along the edges.
When you open it up you'll have a unique snowflake!
Hang up around your home for a magical winter effect.
8. Design a crown grip
The Netmums team loved this haircomb we found on Instagram by @adaminaart.
Cut a piece of cardboard into a crown shape and spray with gold paint, then add a few shimmery stickers. Attach with wire or superglue to a haircomb and you're good to go.
9. Reindeer racing
This party game is great for involving the whole family.
If adults are playing, they can be the reindeer and race while giving their kid a piggyback.
Older kids can give each other piggybacks too. Smaller kids may find it easier to crawl with a friend on their back.
10. Bake Anna and Elsa birthday cakes
We were really impressed with these Elsa and Anna cakes we spotted on Instagram from @josylnnfae.
Cakes like these might be for the more experienced bakers among you.
If you do want to give them a go, bake a dome-shaped sponge, stick your Frozen doll into the centre, then use coloured icing to decorate the dress.
11. Layered Frozen push up cake
These mini pots of joy from @sclumpfine on Instagram look delicious!
If you're hosting a Frozen party try some simple treats like these - layer cream with sponge fingers dipped in blue food colouring, and top with blueberries for one of your five a day. Yum!
12. Elsa doll
This wooden doll is an ideal activity for the craft table at your Frozen party.
Take a wooden spoon (you can buy them in packs at Hobbycraft and other craft shops) and use a pen to draw the face, glue plaited wool for the hair and then glue on fabric for the princess dress.
13. Do you wanna build a snowman?
Put out these cute treats for a Frozen themed party tea, or you could set this up as an activity for party guests.
Stick three marshmallows together for the snow (using a small blob of icing as glue).
Then use icing pens for decoration and pretzels for the arms and hair.
14. Make an Olaf outfit
Not everyone wants to be an ice queen! For other outfit ideas, Olaf is a nice simple costume for dressing up little ones.
Cut out two circles (you can use a large cardboard box) and paint them white.
Add buttons made of black cardboard down the front and string the two circles together.
Pop over your little one's head, add a bobble hat and you're done.
15. Snow fall
Recreate an epic avalanche with a nail biting game of jenga.
Build the mountain of wooden blocks, then remove the pieces one by one without knocking the whole thing down.
You can mix up this game by writing tasks on each block that relate to the Disney film, like 'roar like Marshmallow' or 'skate (skid) as far as you can across the room'.
16. Snow queen felt crown
We found this cute princess crown on Instagram by @calicoandcotton.
If you're handy with a needle and thread you might want to try something similar.
Get a wide strip of suitably coloured felt, and be sure you fit it around your child's head.
Cut crown shapes into one side, stitch the ends together and superglue or sew on sequin stars and plastic jewels.
17. Cold snowball
Much like the classic party game 'hot potato', this balloon is too cold to hold!
Sit everyone in a circle, then play some music and have the players pass the balloon around as fast as they can.
When the music stops, the person holding the balloon is out.
If you want an extra challenge, pass two balloons in opposite directions around the circle.
18. Frozen party table decorations
This lovely place setting idea comes care of @playfulparty on Instagram - we think it's simple yet stylish.
Create a Frozen tableware theme by laying out coloured napkins, paper snowflakes, and silver painted pine cones. Dot some shiny star sequins around for extra decoration.
19. Give out fairy wands
These fairy wands come courtesy of @jessluv89 on Instagram.
You can buy fairy wands from most good 99p shops.
For some extra sparkle, tie some shiny ribbon around them. Offer them as leaving gifts to keep the Frozen magic going when the party's over.
20. Frozen party bags
A really simple idea for gorgeous party bags.
Wrap your goodies in blue cellophane and tie with a silver ribbon.
We found some trimming that looks like icicles too.
21. Pin the carrot on Olaf
Olaf is constantly losing his nose. Help him find it again with a Frozen twist on pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey.
You'll need a blindfold and a cardboard cutout of Olaf. Blindfold each player in turn and see who can restore his carrot nose the most accurately.
22. Get creative with jewels
Here's some Frozen work in progress on Instagram from @danadanadanaaa, which we love!
Find some delicate material in the Frozen colour scheme (try the charity shops for second-hand headscarves), and sew or stick on a few sparkly jewels.
Drape around the house for beautiful Frozen decorations.
23. Olaf party bags
An easy peasy but oh-so-cute party bag idea.
Use black and coloured pens to turn a plain paper party bag into Olaf. Glue on arms and hair with brown card or foam.
24. Frozen inspired princess crown
Create gorgeous crowns for your party guests to wear.
We cut a design from blue card and then added silver glitter glue to draw the snowflake and gems for decoration.
Then we punched holes at the ends of our crown and threaded in elastic.
25. Frozen party invitations
Write your party invitations on blue card and then tie with silver ribbon.
Cut out a little tag using darker blue card and write your guest's names in silver glitter glue.
Stamp on a snowflake design or stick on pretty gems for decorations.
26. Snowflake party cups
Use blue paper cups for these fun Frozen party drinks.
Glue different ribbon and trimmings round the top, then add silver glitter glue, stick on gems and a silver stamper to draw the snowflake designs.
27. Make a no sew tutu
Inspired by Elsa's princess dress, make a gorgeous tutu in icy blues and whites.
These tutus are so easy to put together. There is no sewing involved at all, and you can make them in minutes.
28. Make Elsa (or Anna)'s cape
Make a simple cape just like Elsa's or Anna's.
Take a large piece of floaty material – silver or white for Elsa and red for Anna – and sew or glue a ribbon to the top so that it can fasten round your child's neck.
29. Snow pops
Cook up some bitesized cake treats with these chocolate covered edible Olafs.
Skewer each cake ball with a cocktail stick before dipping in white chocolate. Use icing to add the eyes, nose and mouth.
30. Troll bowling
Rolling is the best way to get around for Kristoff's troll family! Bring them to the party with a fun game of bowling.
All you need is a ball and a few plastic bottles, or you could buy a bowling kit relatively cheaply online.
31. Popcorn snow flurries
Serve up edible piles of snow with these little cups of popcorn.
All you need are some small bowls and a pack of microwave popcorn. Serve hot or leave out on a snacks table for when the kids get peckish.
32. Frozen sorbet
Sorbet is a good dairy-free alternative to ice cream, and it's super tasty too.
Follow this recipe for a tasty fruit sorbet. You can replace the strawberries with blueberries and add food colouring to go with the Frozen party theme.
33. Iced shortbread biscuits
It only takes a little icing to turn shortbread biscuits into your favourite Frozen characters.
You could turn this into a fun activity by getting the kids to add the biscuit decorations themselves. Olaf, magic stars and snowflakes are all easy designs for them to try.
34. Whipped snow milkshakes
Mix up coconut or vanilla milkshakes for a fun snowy drink.
Add whipped cream and sprinkles on top, then serve with paper straws.
35. Find the magic stars
Make a scavenger hunt out of Anna's search for Elsa's magic palace.
Hide silver sequin stars around the room (you can buy a pack of stars cheaply from most party supply shops), and see who can collect the most.
