For every wannabe doctor or vet, this Doc McStuffins costume is the perfect choice for kids this World Book Day 2023.
Doc McStuffins is about a 6-year-old doctor who heals stuffed animals and toys in her backyard clinic. If your child wants to dress up as this awesome character this year, they'll get to bring a soft toy as a prop to school with them – all bandaged up, of course!

You'll need:
- White shirt (ideally borrow one that's a size or two bigger)
- Pink or purple top
- Leggings
- Toy medical case, with stethoscope
- Pink hairband or ribbon
4 easy steps
1. Get your child dressed in the top and leggings
2. Wear the white “coat” over the top (roll up the sleeves if they're too long)
3. Add the pink hairband if you're being true to character
4. Don't forget the stethoscope around their neck for some unmistakeable 'doctor' vibes
And your little doctor is good to go ...
Extras:
This is optional, but we bet your kid will want to include this to finish off their look...
Use toilet roll (or bandages from your home first aid kit) to bandage up one of their favourite soft toys.
Teddies work well – you can wrap up a leg, an arm, their body or their head!
