Hi Hope,
We've moved your thread to our Pregnancy board, as we think it's a more appropriate place for this topic and you’re more likely to get responses here.
Hi Hope, it's Sarah the Netmums Midwife here,
Congratulations on your pregnancy - what an exciting time!
Having got so far on your healthy eating journey I can understand you wanting to continue - and indeed it's really important to not overeat in pregnancy. Certainly you don't need to eat for two, our bodies only need around an extra 500 calories per day in the last trimester.
But it can be really hard to ignore cravings, especially when you are trying to ensure the food you do eat is as nutritious as possible. However, as long as you try to roughly follow the 80-20 rule you should be fine (ie you eat well 80 per cent of the time and allow yourself less healthy food 20 per cent of the time). Plus I'm sure as your cravings and/or nausea fade you will find yourself going back to your normal regime.
Good luck!

Thank you for your reply sarah..im not doing to badly at the moment
. i am eating more and more frequently but still trying hard to stick to healthier options. i have gained about 5lb over the last few wks though but i am very constipated so hoping thats a factor 😩 i think its the fact i am eating more and more often rather than making bad choices. its hard..iv never had to concentrate on this when preg before. But i really dont want to gain alot, my age and having to have another section is a bit of a worry so i will continue to make the effort xx
