The official advice on eating green olives and black olives in pregnancy
Good news! It's fine to eat olives in pregnancy.
The NHS recommends that you eat plenty of fruit and vegetables during pregnancy. Fruit and vegetables provide vitamins, minerals and fibre.
Be careful if you're buying olives from a market stall or deli counter though, in case they've come into contact with raw meat. Raw meat can contain parasites, which may harm your unborn baby.
