The official advice on eating caviar in pregnancy
The NHS doesn't warn against eating caviar in pregnancy, so it's up to you whether you choose to eat it.
Caviar is usually made using salted sturgeon roe (fish eggs). The NHS says that raw fish is safe to eat if it's been salted, but it isn't completely clear whether that also applies to the eggs. You may prefer to avoid it to be on the safe side. If you are craving caviar, pasteurised caviar is generally considered to be safer than unpasteurised caviar.
If in doubt, you can always ask your midwife.
