The official advice on eating Babybel in pregnancy
Great news! Babybel is safe to eat in pregnancy.
According to the Babybel website, all Babybel mini cheeses are made with pasteurised milk. This is important, because the NHS advises that it's safest to only eat pasteurised dairy products while you're pregnant.
Pasteurised vs unpasteurised dairy products

Pasteurisation is a heat treatment process designed to kill harmful bacteria. Unpasteurised dairy products, including cheese, milk and yoghurt, could contain a bacteria called listeria. This can cause an infection called listeriosis, which could lead to complications in pregnancy, including a small risk of miscarriage or stillbirth.
Don't worry too much though, because all cheeses and other dairy products must be pasteurised by law before they can be sold in supermarkets. If you buy milk or cheese from your local farmer's market, you can check whether their dairy products have been pasteurised as well.
Take care with soft blue cheeses like gorgonzola or mould-ripened soft cheeses like brie. According to the NHS, these should only be eaten when cooked until steaming hot while you're pregnant.

The Babybel website says that Babybel original mini cheeses are lactose-free and made from vegetarian cheese. They also don't contain any added flavours, colours or preservatives, making them a safe snack for you and your growing baby.
Babybel original mini cheeses are also enriched with calcium. This is an important nutrient for your baby as it helps to build strong bones and teeth, so make sure you're getting lots of calcium from milk, green vegetables and calcium-fortified cereals.
