On the Loudon Terrace stands the Pavilion Tea Room, the perfect place to soak up the sun or relax in the shade and enjoy a refreshing drink and a bite to eat.
At the right time of year you will also see Wisteria sinensis in flower, providing an attractive framework around the Pavilion's main window.
The new Summerhouse can be found near the children’s playground, serving various flavours of delicious ice creams and a selection of drinks and biscuits.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Worth buying a membership for an entire family! Food is very pricy but you can bring your own picnic! Really it is a lovely, wonderful place.

I would like to warn anyone visiting the botanical gardens that they have just introduced a parking fine system which has resulted in myself and several other members receiving fines in error (£150). The botanics are currently refusing to get involved in appeals or change the system. I would avoid using the car to visit, and it is a great shame because this is a lovely venue which we have enjoyed for a good few years.

The Botanical Gardens in Birmingham is a wonderful place to visit. I would recommend getting an annual ticket. The food in the tea room is a little disappointing and expensive. Great gift shop.

I absolutely love it here, so beautiful peaceful can relax in the knowledge that pets are not allowed so no worry over dog mess which can be a problem in local parks! children love the playarea. It is lovely and clean. There have been a couple of times in the week where I have been unable to park the car (no spaces left) due to conferences held at the gardens so have had to turn round and drive home again, need additional weekday parking when conferences are on.

We had a lovely sunday afternoon here witg my nearly 3 yr old and 6 mth old, gardens are stunning, we took a picnic and sat in the gardens to enjoy it, took a football and my son thoughg it was great to have all that space to run around, after we tooknthe boys to the park and the older one loved the discovery garden, i did think it was slightly overpriced at 7.50 per adult but the kids loved every minute of it, also, check the website as on certain sundays they hve a craft session, when we went tge kids could make a wobbley pencil end and take it home, this made his afternoon!

Stunning gardens with great kids play park and brilliantly thought out adventure area. Also great that everything is so clean (no dog mess/broken bottles/rubbish etc that you can often find in other parks. We became members 3 years ago and pay for the family membership which means you can admit 5 adults at a time (kids go free) & we have used this so much, the majority of people we have taken with us have ended up investing in their own family pass as it's such good value! Great place to take a picnic and relax and watch the free roaming peacocks. Also lovely to take in the bands that play every sunday in the summer months. Lots of events on throughout the year too. Can't reccommend it enough.

This is a nice day out weather permitting, the outside play area is good for both older and younger children, and theres a lot to explore and look at! Its lovely to take a picnic and just chill out, especially when theres a concert on! I had a pass a couple of years ago which worked out good value for money, although i'm not sure how much thay are at the moment! jacqui

This is a great place to visit with kids of all ages. If you live locally it's well worth getting an annual ticket as it admits five people and only costs about £55 - bargain!
