My baby is nearly 11 weeks old. She is a great sleeper at night. Goes down about 10/10.30 and doesn’t wake until around 4-6am then will go back down for another couple of hours. This is in the next to me crib.

during the day however she won’t sleep any where else other than on me. If I get her to sleep and then put her down the longest she will sleep for is 10-20 mins whereas asleep on my she can stay asleep for up to 2 hours.

the only other time she sleeps during the day is in the pram when walking but as soon as the pram stops moving she wakes up. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks

Hi Rhianon

We have a dedicated 'sleep' board in our Drop-In Clinic – post any sleep questions you have there and an expert, as well as other parents, will reply. You could also check out this article on understanding you baby's sleep cycle https://www.netmums.com/baby/understanding-your-babys-sleep

I’m also currently going through this with my little boy, he’s just gone 3 month today. But he sleeps better on me, if I put him in his cot takes ages get him to go to sleep then wakes up after 30/40 minutes so I found it just best for him to nap on me as I know he’s getting more sleep and not get cranky later on. He goes down quite well on a night, can take a while put he sleeps from about 8:30/9-5:30/6 (trapped wind always wakes him otherwise I think he’d sleep longer) my friend did suggest putting him in his sleepbag as well for naps (he only wears it on a night) and seeing if that helps.
