Heavy Bleeding but no miscarriage

Hi everyone!
Im 11 weeks pregnant and so far have had a great pregnanacy with no sickness etc. I have private healthcare and get scans monthly, they have all been great so far including my last one which was on Friday.
Yesterday morning (Sunday) my husband and I had sex first thing (only the second time since I've been pregnant) once we had finished I turned the light on and the bed sheet was covered in bright red blood, ran to the toilet it was still dripping out and into the toilet. I was screaming obviously thought the worst that I had lost the baby.
Went straight to A&E and got an internal scan straight away, they said everything was fine, baby looked normal and normal heartbeat etc. They told me just to rest and I may experience some dark blood over the next few days.
Even though they said everything is fine I can't help worry, has anyone else had something similar?
