19 alcopops from the '00s we ALL remember drinking
We thought we were SO cool
How many of these alcopops do you remember (and how many are you still trying to forget!)?
1. WKD Blue
This vodka-based drink was one of the undisputed alcopops of the noughties (and one half of a cheeky vimto.) Remember how it turned your tongue blue? Aah, those were the days ...
2. Hooch
Was it even have a night out if you didn’t have Hooch? Or even a vodka hooch?!
3. Moscow Mule
Vodka and ginger beer in a gold bottle, sophistication noughties-style. What could go wrong?
4. Castaway
A fruity sparkling wine we all mixed with Diamond White for a “blastaway”. Seemed like a good idea at the time …
5. 'fcuk' spirit
Short-lived but *fcuk* we felt cool drinking it.
6. MD 20/20
Aka Mad Dog, this fortified wine was practically a rite of passage in the early 00s.
7. Bacardi Breezer
This rum and fruit juice drink was one of our go-to 00’s alcopops. *Almost* worth the hangovers.
8. Slinky
This fruity Blue Nun-based drink was our wine of choice back in the day …
9. Apple Sourz
It glowed in the dark. Sold.
10. Smirnoff Ice
Still on sale now. That’s some serious alcopop staying power.
11. Sierra Slammer
The alcopop introduction to tequila. Oof.
12. Reef
A favourite for being fizz-free. So basically alcoholic fruit juice.
13. Bacardi Rigo
Another rum-based alcopop that sends us hurtling straight back to the noughties.
14. Archers Aqua
For the times we fancied being sophisticated.
15. Metz
We’re still having flashbacks to the terrifying ‘Judderman’ advert.
16. VK
It was all about the Blue.
17. Red Square Reloaded
Vodka and caffeine. Enough said.
18. Two Dogs
Aah, the days when alcoholic lemonade was totally A. Thing.
19. Aftershock
Can’t. Even. Think. About. It.
