Hi girls! My baby is 18 months and is not talking, pointing or waving. He babbles a lot, sometimes says mama or dada but not intentionally, he doesn’t call us he just babbles it. He has very good eye contact, he interacts with us and his cousins. He brings us toys sometimes, and plays with us. I’m also worried because he likes to spin some of his toys.
Hi Danissa,
We understand it can be really worrying, but please try not to stress! The best thing to do is discuss any concerns with your GP and you can get advice from the experts in our Drop-In Clinic: https://www.netmums.com/coffeehouse/drop-clinic-984/baby-child-health-989/
That's normal for some kids my 2nd child who is 4 didn't talk till 3 and half lined up toys etc. My 10 and 3yo spoke before 1. Aslong as they understand things you say . Get shoes or coat etc it's fine child is only young just work harder sit and play use word cards etc
Could you please give an update?
Appreciated!
Sounds like a normal toddler just takes some a little longer to talk
